But on this sunniest of days, as an innocent suffers love and loss, my love crystallized further, encompassing admiration and pride. This little boy who I already call Angel is developing the empathy and sensitivity of a gentle soul. Not all people are so lucky; some people stay mean all their lives.
I had hoped that a global pandemic would at last set my widening ass down to write more. Indeed my backside flattened but for less intellectual pursuits.
It is almost one week since the start of our version of lockdown and four weeks since I returned from the New York City area.
This week I wrote about social media steering us away from our authentic selves. While my comment stands, yesterday at the Mumbrella Asia conference, I was persuaded to soften my view. Call me a sucker for silliness, but I loved learning about TikTok.
